Widely
regarded as the most challenging hole on the course, #3 can play more
like a par 4 if you aren't on in one. The wind plays a major factor
on this hole, forcing you to play to the left and keep it safe. With
a strong drive to the middle of the sloping green, a soft putting touch
is helpful to finish out.
An
unforgiving Out-of-Bounds (OB) area runs the length of the right side,
leaving little room for error. At the same time, a strategically-placed
sand bunker guards the front left side of the green. If you hit too
far to the left, and you'll be chipping upward to reach the green.
The
hardest hole on the course, it's tough to birdie from any direction.
In other words, you might just want to take your par and move on to
#4.
