Hole
#2 poses an interesting question for big hitters - to cut, or not to
cut? With a strong drive to the right side of the fairway, the green
can be less than 100 yards out; yet the position of the pin on this
sloping, two-tiered green makes all the difference.
A
large Out-of-Bounds (OB) area filled with growing evergreen trees poses
a significant threat to those who try to cut the corner on this dogleg
right, while a deep sand bunker sits at the foot of several difficult
berms at the turn in the fairway. Putting downhill can be difficult
on this peanut-shaped two-tiered green. If you're not careful, you can
end up on the other side or off the green altogether!
This
can be a make-or-break hole -- especially if you're coming off a birdie
on Hole #1. The ever-changing pin placements make it worth playing the
course a couple times a week or every weekend, because it can seem like
a totally different 9 each time.
